1. Acceptance
By using PeakPDFs (peakpdfs.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
PeakPDFs provides free, browser-based PDF tools including merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking, converting images to PDF, and converting PDF pages to images. All processing occurs locally in your browser. No files are uploaded to our servers.
3. Acceptable use
You may use PeakPDFs for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Use the service to process files you do not have the right to modify or distribute.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
4. Intellectual property
The PeakPDFs name, logo, and site design are our property. The underlying open-source libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, etc.) are governed by their respective licences. You retain full ownership of any files you process using the service.
5. No warranties
PeakPDFs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will meet every use case. Use the service at your own discretion — always keep backups of important documents.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeakPDFs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of — or inability to use — the service.
7. Free tools
The seven core tools (Merge, Image to PDF, Rotate, Watermark, Compress, Split, PDF to JPG) are free and will remain so. A paid plan with advanced features is in development — details will be published here when it launches.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
